Implementing HMO with HMO Flex

A Kaiser Permanente sales executive or sales associate will be assigned to your group. This consultant will be your main point of contact for your implementation activities and will work closely with an installation consultant to ensure a timely and accurate implementation. Following the commencement of group set up activities, you will be transitioned to your assigned account management team.

Onboarding your group

Three major milestones that we monitor are:

  1. Rates and benefits set up and validated in the Kaiser Permanente systems
  2. Eligibility is loaded timely and accurately so members can access services on their effective date
  3. ID cards are mailed prior to their effective date

Welcoming new employees/members

We at Kaiser Permanente value your business and our new HMO with HMO Flex members. You can be confident we strive to ensure your members understand their plan features and can take advantage of its benefits. Onboarding includes:

  • Comprehensive new member handbook
  • An onboarding call from a Member Services agent
  • New employees/members can call our help line for any questions, from accessing care to transferring prescriptions
